corresponding day in December, enjoy the
brew and scan the code or log on to this webpage and see what kind of beer you just enjoyed.

never patient enough to open their
calendars on the right day and just

#1 December 1st
Pilsner
December 1st is finally here so we will start with one of my favourite beers. This All Grain Contintental Pilsner is a balanced, well rounded, golden European style lager with a noticeable hop profile and all malt character.
This brew reminds me of some of the
classic Czech and Polish style beers.

#2 December 2nd
WINDSOR ALE
We can all agree that Mondays stink, so hopefully this Windsor Ale can make your day a little brighter. We have called this Cream style ale 'Windsor Ale' as it seems to please the OV drinker more than any other brew we make. This All Grain medium bodied, slightly fruity, North American ale style has deep golden colour with a delicate hop aroma and flavour. A smooth and easy drinking beer style.

#3 December 3rd
Chocolate Stout
We hope you enjoy this Chocolate Stout as
much as we did making it. We took our award winning Coffee Vanilla Stout, left out the Coffee and Vanilla and
added in a healthy dose of Chocolate.

if you ask us nicely we will make you some

#4 December 4th
Ultra Dry
This is our best selling Beer at Jakes!!
This 4.5% all grain beer with, low carbs, low calories
appeals to the Light beer drinker and is a knockoff
of Michelob Ultra. We add no preservatives or chemicals into all of our beers making them
the cleanest, healthiest beer option on the market.

#5 December 5th
New Zealand Lager
This brew is made from Malts & Hops from
New Zealand. It is a fairly new brew at
Jakes but is gaining popularity for it's clean
crisp taste. It's great with a slice
of lime on a hot day.

#6 December 6th
West Coast IPA
Lets celebrate Lions victory Friday with
a delicious West Coast IPA.
​One to please the hop lovers, this rich, full bodied golden ale is bursting with hop aroma and flavour. Citrus, pine and floral notes – in true West Coast style.
ABV. = 6.5% IBU = 46

#7 December 7th
Blonde
One of our best selling all grains
brews at Jakes.
A yellow coloured, crisp beer with a genuine lager yeast. This is a true all-malt lager brewed with no adjuncts.

#8 December 8th
MALTZILLA
This is a big brew! We took our popular
Super Lager and supercharged it. This
beer is 8.8% alcohol and very, malty &
full bodied with little hop flavour.

#9 December 9th
Cerveza
A very light coloured lager with a crisp mouthfeel. A highly refreshing and clean tasting summer beer.
It has turned into a top seller when available.

#10 December 10th
BROWN ALE
A traditional, medium-bodied English
style Brown Ale. Pleasantly roasted,
mid-bodied malt profile with low hop
flavour and aroma and moderate hop bitterness.

Crisp Lager
This new lager is dry
hopped with fresh cascade hops for
a nice crisp finish.

Candy Cane
This beer has been a Holiday tradition
at Jakes for many years. Whether
you love or hate this brew it's
guaranteed to leave your breath
minty fresh.

#13 December 13th
New England IPA
This one's not for you Bruce!!!
This unfiltered juicy IPA is bursting at
the seams with tropical and citrus hop flavour.
This beer has less perceived bitterness than
traditional IPA's

KOLSCH

is a popular beer style in European
beer gardens in the summer.

Golden Ale
This is a newer brew to our
Jakes menu but is gaining popularity.
A delicious easy drinking brew with
little hop bitterness it sure to please
most beer drinkers.

#16 December 16th
Apple Fritter
This delicious beverage is half Apple Cider,
half Crisp Ale made with brown
sugar & cinnamon. This was a experimental
drink we did this year for fall. We were very happy
with the results & anyone who got some loved it.
We saved some just for the Advent Calendar and it
will be available every Fall now at Jakes.

#17 December 17th
Agave Ale
So we had some fun with this one.
We took some Golden Agave chips and
soaked them in the beer while it was
fermenting and added a splash of Tequila
at the end to give it a unique flavour.

#20 December 20th
Blood Orange Sour
Description - Our award winning brewer
Eric took it upon himself to come
up with this one. This is the 1st sour
we have ever released and it turned out
fantastic. A nice balance between
the beer and sourness with a nice
amount of Blood Orange flavour.

Coffee Crisp

Inspired by one of Canada's
iconic chocolate bars we've made
this beer a drinkable tribute. All grain
beer with fresh cold brew coffee and
a hint of Vanilla. Dessert in a glass.

Winter Ale
Winter is officially here so enjoy

Easy drinking brew that is amber to light
red in colour. Smooth and refreshing
with a hint of

Festabier
'for the rest of us'
Description- Happy Festivus to
all that celebrate! Enjoy this
this seasonal light golden amber brew that
has a medium body, a light toffee-coloured foam and has a hint of caramel. This all grain
beer has a crisp clean finish and pairs
well with the Airing of Grievences

#24 December 24th
GINGERBREAD
Well we have finally made it to
the end, to those that drank the beer
on the correct day, Congratulations, you have
more willpower than I. We had fun with
this one. We used a lovely Nut Brown base
and tossed a healthy dose of fresh Ginger
and the rest is a Holiday secret.
